I'd guess that somewhere out there is life, however advanced or primitive. It was a tiny chance that put life on Earth, but there are a LOT of other places for that chance to happen.

Definitely. If the universe is truly infinite, it's impossible for life NOT to exist out there. Infinite space = infinite chances of life developing
the chances are that we'll never find out, because the distances involved are gigantic.
